Questions

Common questions

What are the MSME limits now?
From 1 April 2025, under Notification S.O. 1364(E) dated 21 March 2025: micro up to ₹2.5 crore investment and ₹10 crore turnover; small up to ₹25 crore and ₹100 crore; medium up to ₹125 crore and ₹500 crore. Registration is free on the Udyam portal.
How do we register a charitable trust?
A public charitable trust is created by a trust deed registered with the Sub-Registrar under the Registration Act, 1908. Tax exemption and donor deduction need separate registration with the Income-tax department, which we also handle.
When do PF and ESI become compulsory?
PF applies to establishments with 20 or more employees (Section 1(3), Employees' Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1952). ESI applies to establishments with 10 or more employees, for employees earning up to ₹21,000 a month (Employees' State Insurance Act, 1948).
Is hallmarking compulsory for jewellers?
Yes, in the notified districts, under the Hallmarking of Gold Jewellery and Gold Artefacts Order issued under the Bureau of Indian Standards Act, 2016. Jewellers register with BIS and sell only hallmarked items with a HUID.
Which drug licence does a pharmacy need?
Retail and wholesale sales of drugs need licences under the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, 1940 and the Drugs Rules, 1945 (Forms 20, 21, 20B and 21B), issued by the State Drugs Control Department. A registered pharmacist is required.
Do you issue ISO certificates?
No. Certificates are issued by accredited certification bodies. We prepare your documentation and coordinate their audit.
